All DIN adapters will be within a few grams of one another for the main assembly as it is a required not fail under 200BAR/3442psi even when abused. It's a CGA engineering spec. It's a chuck of brass pure and simple, made to a required standard. The only real difference is if the knob is plastic or brass. The Brass will stand up better, but the plastic knob is lighter and OK if cared for. Aka, don't chuck it about on the boat deck, or drop ,you tank and it will be fine. There is an older Poseidon DIN-to-Yoke adapter (1958-1975?, if you can find one) that is lighter, but it does not meet modern standards and is damaged easily. A stainless steel or titanium one would be lighter, but much more expensive, but I have never seen one made either. PS. This is least expensive one you will find. Most OEM brands are around -0.

Hello, My regulator is Yoke/Int system. I often find difficulties to connect it to a tank provided by dive centres because they use mostly DIN-tanks. Is the Metalsub Adapter DIN/INT suitable to connect my a Yoke/Int regulator to a tank with a DIN system? I would like to have the confirmation about this aspect of the Metalsub Adapter DIN/INT. Hello, The adapter is for INT bottle and DIN regulator. What you need is a core to put in the bottle so that it goes from DIN to INT. So no, this adapter does not work for you.

Hi, this adapter is for din type regulator to connect it to the yoke type bottle.
