The rubber feels good. The thread that goes to the regulator was a little forced into the Apeks DS4 first stage. The same thing happened to me with two hoses. Tested in water, no leaks. I hope it lasts a few years without cracking or breaking.

Good buy

Cheap, various lengths, flexible enough. I am switching back from braided hoses to rubber, as these are softer on the neck, almost the same weight and yet flexible. Good purchase.

Defective product

2020/03/03

Peio

I have ordered many hoses and several different sizes. rather happy up to 1m, on the other hand the 2 long pipes (200 or 213 cm) were of another material. Horrible quality, memory making routing difficult both in Bck mount and in sidemount, and the two pipes were defective in the same place. The first one exploded when my tanks were at the water's edge (luck it didn't go diving) after less than 30 dives (2 weeks of use). The second already presents deformations at 20 cm from the screw for the second stage (same place as the rupture of the first). In addition, I found a considerable number of small fibers entering the second stage from the decomposition of the material inside the pipe. In short, tuyayu court ok, very very bad pipe.

I recently purchased the Metalsub Yellow Regulator Hose (102 cm), and I’m extremely happy with the quality and performance. The build feels very solid, with a durable and flexible design that gives great confidence underwater. The 102 cm length is perfect—comfortable, streamlined, and ideal for an alternate air source without feeling too long or bulky. The bright yellow colour is highly visible, making it easy to locate in any situation, which is a big plus for safety. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the hose performs perfectly with no leaks or stiffness. Overall, a fantastic product that offers great value and reliability. I would happily recommend it to any diver looking to upgrade their setup.
