OMS D-Ring 45 Bend 5 cm

OMS D-Ring 45 Bend 5 cm

Elevate your dive gear configuration and achieve unparalleled accessibility with the OMS D-Ring 45 Bend. As a crucial component for BCD jackets and technical diving harnesses, this meticulously engineered accessory is designed for the serious diver who values efficiency, safety, and a streamlined profile underwater. The thoughtful design allows for optimal gear placement and effortless interaction, ensuring your focus remains on the dive, not on fumbling with your equipment. Ideal for mounting on the chest or shoulder straps of your harness, this D-ring provides a reliable and easy-to-access attachment point for stage bottles, cameras, dive lights, and other essential accessories.

The specific 45-degree bend is the core feature, purposefully crafted to make the ring stand proud from the webbing. This angled orientation creates a natural-to-reach anchor point, making it significantly easier to clip and unclip gear with a single hand, even when wearing thick gloves in cold water. This eliminates the frustration of flat-lying D-rings that can be difficult to locate and use, especially under task loading or in low-visibility conditions. By integrating the OMS Bent D-Ring into your system, you enhance your muscle memory and create a more intuitive and safer diving setup.

Available in two sizes, the Stainless Steel “D” ring has become a SCUBA industry main stay in terms of gear configuration. The shape of the “D” ring works well when coupled with a Triglide. The 2 inch “D” ring is available in flat or bent shape. The bent shape works best in the chest location as a diver can easily get under the “D” ring for attaching gear. Remember “Rings on your body, Clips on Gear” having a clip on your harness may lead to an entanglement situation. Line entangled on a gear clip is easily solved, remove the accessory gear and clear the line. This philosophy is central to the design and intended use of this product, promoting a cleaner, safer, and more efficient harness configuration that minimizes potential hazards.
