OMS DIN 300 Bar Blind Plug Left Expandable Valve

OMS DIN 300 Bar Blind Plug for Left Expandable Valve

Future-proof your dive configuration and protect your investment with the essential OMS DIN 300 Bar Blind Plug for Left Expandable Valves. This precision-engineered component is a critical accessory for any diver utilizing the modular OMS expandable valve system, offering a seamless blend of safety, reliability, and long-term versatility for your dive tank setup.

Designed for the forward-thinking diver, this blind plug is the key to unlocking a truly adaptable system. It allows you to purchase an OMS left-hand expandable valve and use it safely and efficiently on a single tank. The plug securely seals the outward-facing port, which is reserved for future expansion. This intelligent design means you can start with a single-cylinder configuration and, when your training and diving ambitions advance, easily upgrade to a full dual-outlet manifold for a twinset or H-valve setup. This eliminates the need to purchase a completely new and expensive valve system, providing significant cost savings and unparalleled adaptability as your diving journey evolves.

The primary benefit of this blind plug is the uncompromising protection it offers your high-performance valve. By creating a secure, high-pressure seal, it effectively prevents the ingress of water, salt, sand, and other contaminants into the sensitive internal threads of the valve port. This protection is crucial for maintaining the integrity and smooth operation of your life-support equipment, preventing corrosion and damage that could compromise safety. Furthermore, the robust seal ensures there is no risk of accidental gas loss from the unused port, giving you complete confidence and peace of mind during transport, setup, and every moment underwater.

Engineered to meet the demands of technical diving, this blind plug is fully compatible with high-pressure systems, boasting a robust 300 bar rating. This makes it the perfect companion for modern high-capacity steel cylinders, ensuring performance and safety at extended depths and for longer bottom times. The specific "Left" designation is a critical detail for divers building an ergonomic and streamlined technical rig. It corresponds to the left-hand valve in a twinset configuration, ensuring that hose routing and handwheel access are optimized for clean, snag-free gas management and intuitive operation in any situation.
