I used it every day and it's practical for freediving - measure time Down the water, temperature and actual depth. You can use alarm for your maximum time under the water and meters too. The watch does give the most essential info for the dive such as depth, dive time, water temperature and most importantly surface time. Very competitive price for the info provided. Used five time only so time will tell about its durability. One remark on the product: is the the info from each dive will be overwritten by the next one, only max/totals will be kept in the 98 memory slots. One remark on the service: I received the watch already activated and set up, it was in its box and the protective stickers were on but no wrapping was present. I have no way to say whether it was an exposition model. I kept it as I needed it straight away.

Definitely yes, I'm using it for that purpose. It reports the main info needed in spearfishing: diving depth and time, recovery time at the surface (extremely important) and water temperature. You don't need to know anything else, just focus on the fish and have fun. Hope it helps
