Bought this to add variability to my gun, it sits perfectly on my Salvimar threaded shaft, but also on all other shafts with M7 threads. Very hydrodynamic, very sharp and not too wide. You will not lose much of a precision of a tahitian shaft, and you'll have better possibilities when going after smaller or medium fish.
