SCUBAPRO Ankle Weight 500g

Achieve perfect trim and unparalleled comfort on every dive with the SCUBAPRO Ankle Weight 500g. Expertly designed for the discerning diver, this premium weight system component is the ultimate solution for fine-tuning your buoyancy and body position in the water. Whether you´re compensating for the positive buoyancy of a drysuit or simply seeking a more streamlined and balanced profile, these ankle weights provide the stability and control you need to elevate your diving experience.

The primary benefit of the SCUBAPRO Ankle Weight is its ability to perfect your in-water posture. These ankle weights are specifically for use with drysuits, which often trap air in the legs and feet, or by any diver who wants better redistribution of their additional weight for fine-tuning their body position. By strategically placing 500g on each ankle, you can effortlessly counteract floaty feet, achieve a horizontal trim, and reduce drag. This improved streamlining not only enhances your hydrodynamics but can also lead to lower air consumption and less physical exertion, allowing for longer, more enjoyable dives. Furthermore, they help relieve the weight and discomfort often concentrated on the waist or hips from a traditional weight belt, reducing back strain and improving overall comfort throughout your dive.

Engineered with SCUBAPRO´s commitment to quality and innovation, these ankle weights boast features that prioritize performance, safety, and environmental responsibility. The unique European patented system utilizes a soft, lead-grain pack that conforms perfectly to the natural shape of your ankle. This flexible design eliminates the hard, uncomfortable pressure points associated with solid weights, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for the duration of your dive.

Safety is paramount in diving, and the integrated quick-release buckle on the fully adjustable strap is a testament to this principle. The buckle allows for immediate and effortless removal in an emergency, providing crucial peace of mind. For everyday use, it makes gearing up and down a fast and convenient process.

SCUBAPRO also demonstrates a commitment to protecting the underwater world with a meticulously designed watertight pocket seal. This innovative feature creates an impermeable barrier between the internal lead grains and the surrounding water, preventing any lead contact with the environment and protecting your gear from abrasive lead dust.
