Features of Scubapro New Crystal VU

Product description of Scubapro New Crystal VU diving mask

Description summary

Features:

- Patented single-lens design with seamless side window design for a panoramic field of vision
- Crystal-clear, double-sealed silicone skirt for superior fit and comfort
- Low-volume styling for a snug fit and ease of clearing
- The most important consideration in mask selection is fit. No two faces are alike, and the SCUBAPRO broad range takes individual differences into account.
- The basic difference in masks lies in the number of lenses. Single-lens masks were the first developed and remain a popular choice worldwide because they provide a broad, uninterrupted view.
- With the advent of silicone skirts, twin-lens masks have become increasingly popular because they typically lower internal volume, making clearing easier.
- To increase peripheral vision and transfer more light, SCUBAPRO has incorporated side lenses into selected masks.

Specifications:

- Lens configuration: Single lens, with seamless side windows
- Lens material : Tempered Glass
- Purge valve: No
- Skirt material: Silicone
- Strap adjustment system: Quick adjust

I very like design of this mask but I heard from skilled divers that flecks of sunlight comes through side glasses and sometimes these flecks are too much that not so easy to see the display of your underwater camera.

I have a wide face is this mask recommended for ? i try already 2 other scubapro model but very disapointed ( one leaks and one is to small ) thank you

Answer of Anna

The mask is definitely wider than the Scubapro D-mask and is also slightly wider than the Scubapro Synergy Twin (about 3cm wider). I switch between all three, but the CrystalVu is too wide under the wetsuit hood for me.
