Hi, my scuba pro stell comp mask that I have been using for years went to the bottom of the sea because of a novice diver, I searched for the same mask all over the internet and in my country, but I couldn't find it. I've used one of these masks in black, when it was still Subgear. Soft, comfortable, better for my face than the Omer Bandit ive got. Less temptation to over tighten it as a good seal. Difficult to comment on scubapro silicon. Had to buy Subgear version in white as couldn't get a black non-Scubapro one.

Note: stiffer silicone than the subgear version!

I got this mask as a replacement for my SUBGEAR Steel comp that I lost. Now it's called SCUBAPRO steel comp, but I'm dissapointed since the silicone is considerably stiffer than in the old mask. As a confirmation of this, please note the following information from a scubapro representative: Product Management just told me that there was a change in the silicone of the Steel comp mask when we transferred it to Scubapro. The silicone is stiffer and ensures a seal. Still a good mask, but not better than many others. The SUBGEAR version, with soft silicone was an outstanding mask!
