If you are looking for a dive computer , we present the new ACTION HR , designed to monitor conditions under water, ideal for freedivers and professional divers.

It is an easy-to-use device, configured to measure the depth of the water with a timer that controls the athlete´s immersion time. You can also verify the management of the dive profiles for each dive and monitor the oxygen concentration.

I do not like the trend of overpriced color screens in dive computers that have limited battery life. Wanted to have some simple, watch size with long lasting and user replaceable battery diving computer. Seac action HR is exactly that. Has LCD screen with good arrangement of all dive parameters, logical-easy to setup menus, supports air , nitrox and free dive. Logs transfer is only possible by cable which is not expensive, but some BT integration would be better and do not thing will increase the price. Had only two dives to test it and works well. Time will tell about durability

Algorithm was very liberal as I expected, and it was easy to use. Only confusing thing is that there is no page that I could change from oxygen to nitrox option. Later I figured it out by asking an experienced fellow diver, which the answer is just go to MIX page and if you are using oxygen, leave it 21%. And if nitrox, change it to the appropriate oxygen level that is usually 31%.

It is a pity that there are not many tutorials on the product, and in order to have the product working at its full capacity we have to send the usb cable separately. Good computer especially with its "form factor" - it has the largest working area of the display with minimum useless "frames" found on the majority of others. However, it has some unfortunate errors in deco calculations. For example, it calculates saturation differently for "metric" and "imperial" settings. Imperial settings lead to noticeably more conservative results in addition to the rather conservative algorithm (f-factors) already chosen by SEAC. SEAC should fix it with software updates. The possibility of larger f-factors would be very welcomed also.

I already had contact with the SEAC computers (screen) and now the Action. It is easy to use, the successive ones are controlled well (intensive use) and I like the unmodified Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm. Hope the battery is as easy to change as they say.

This is not my first computer and will be used exclusively in freediving mode. I can't say anything about diving conditions. Large, comfortable, the font is large enough, the strap is long, but, unfortunately, not as soft as we would like. The undoubted advantage is the depth of operation for diving in the free mode of 1 meter. This allows you to use this computer in the pool. Not many freedive computers can boast this or less depth. There are also some questions regarding the logic of the computer. It would be nice to add a protective film for the glass to the kit.
