Product description of Tecnomar Flexible freediving Snorkel

Description summary

Experience pure underwater freedom with the TECNOMAR Flexible Freediving Snorkel. This minimalist, J-tube snorkel is built for performance and reliability, ideal for freedivers and spearfishermen. Crafted from durable, flexible silicone, it easily folds for storage and springs back to shape. Its low-profile, hydrodynamic design minimizes drag. A key feature is its lightweight, buoyant construction, ensuring it floats if detached. The ergonomic mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue for extended dives. With no valves, it offers silent operation and effortless clearing, letting you focus on the aquatic world

TECNOMAR Flexible Freediving Snorkel

Discover the essence of underwater freedom with the TECNOMAR Flexible Freediving Snorkel. Engineered for the purist, this snorkel strips away unnecessary complexities to deliver a streamlined, reliable, and exceptionally comfortable breathing experience. It is the ultimate choice for freedivers, spearfishermen, and discerning snorkelers who demand performance, simplicity, and efficiency in their gear. Its minimalist design focuses on what truly matters: providing a clear and easy airway when you´re on the surface, without becoming a hindrance when you dive.

The core of this snorkel´s exceptional performance is its construction. It is a flexible silicone snorkel, allowing it to be easily folded and stowed in a BCD pocket or tucked under a weight belt during deep dives, springing back to its original shape when needed. This flexibility also makes it incredibly durable and comfortable, as it can bend and move with you, rather than creating a rigid point of leverage against your mask. The design features a low profile, which ensures it fits perfectly to the diver´s face. This hydrodynamic shape significantly reduces drag in the water, allowing for smoother, more energy-efficient movement whether you are swimming on the surface or ascending from a dive.

One of the most practical benefits is its buoyancy. The snorkel is incredibly lightweight to have it float on the water, a crucial feature that prevents the loss of your gear should it become detached from your mask. No more watching your snorkel sink to the depths; the TECNOMAR snorkel will remain on the surface for easy retrieval. Comfort during long sessions is guaranteed by the ergonomic comfort mouthpiece, which is specifically designed for easy working for free diving purposes. It helps to minimize jaw fatigue, allowing you to stay in the water longer and focus on your breathing and your environment.

This snorkel embraces a classic J-tube design, a deliberate choice favored by experienced divers for its unparalleled reliability. With no valves to fail or splashguards to create noise and drag, you get a silent, fail-proof tool that is incredibly easy to clear with a simple puff of air. This silent operation is particularly vital for spear fishing, where any unnatural sound can startle your target. For freedivers, the absence of complex parts means less to worry about and a more direct connection to the aquatic world.

The tube is not bending, solid. If you try to bend it, white marks will remain at the bend from plastic deformation. The mouthpiece came up, it is made of soft silicone or rubber.

Purchased for freediving in swimming pool. After comparison with the beuchat from which it is inspired I think they actually come from the same factory. They are the same. Very pleasant snorkel with clip system to attach to the mask. I leave this ring on the mask to slide the snorkel only when I need it and it is done without problem. No need to pay more for a snorkel!
