WEEFINE Light Blue Filter for Smart Focus 3000-7000 Series

Unlock the true, vibrant colors of the underwater world with the WEEFINE Light Blue Filter, an essential accessory for your Smart Focus video light. Designed for discerning underwater photographers and videographers, this filter is the key to achieving professional-grade, color-accurate footage by perfectly balancing the light from your equipment with the natural ambient light of the aquatic environment. Say goodbye to the common problem of color discrepancies between your subject and the background, and start capturing breathtakingly realistic underwater scenes.

Achieve Perfect Color Balance Underwater

This high-performance light blue filter is specifically engineered for the WEEFINE Smart Focus 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 video focus lights. Blue filters are used to make the color of the light from your bulb match the color of the ambient light. As any diver knows, the deeper you dive, the more the water filters out the red and yellow wavelengths of sunlight, resulting in an overwhelmingly blue environment.

If you then illuminate a subject in the foreground with the “white light” of your spotlight, a stark color difference is created between your subject and the background. The background is largely illuminated by blue ambient light, while your subject is lit by a much warmer, whiter light source. While you can perform a correction using a manual white balance on your camera, this often leads to an imperfect result, as the camera struggles to correct two different color temperatures in the same frame.

To ensure that both the foreground and background display their correct, natural color after correction, you must first ensure that they are both exposed to the same color of light. By using the correct blue filter, the light from your video spot will be converted to match the color temperature of the ambient light. If you then perform a white balance correction, your camera can accurately process the entire scene, resulting in the colors of the entire image being rendered perfectly.

Key Benefits for Superior Footage
* Seamless Light Integration: Harmonizes the artificial "white light" from your video focus with the natural blue ambient light of the water column for a uniform color temperature across your entire shot.
* Enhanced White Balance Performance: Provides your camera with a consistent color profile, allowing for a much more accurate and effective manual white balance correction.

* True-to-Life Color Rendition: Reveals the authentic, vibrant colors of marine life and seascapes, capturing the underwater world as it is meant to be seen.
* Essential for Deeper Dives: The filter´s effectiveness increases with depth, making it an indispensable tool for divers and videographers exploring beyond shallow reefs.
