Category: Electronics and computers
Subcategory: Accessories and parts

Dive into the intricate world of underwater macro photography with the Weefine WFL08S +6 Macro Lens. Specifically engineered for discerning underwater photographers and videographers, this high-quality wet lens is your key to unlocking stunning, detailed images of the smallest marine subjects. The WFL08S is a high-quality macro lens designed specifically for underwater photographers and cameramen, optimized for use with DSLR and mirrorless cameras equipped with 60-105mm macro lenses. It is particularly effective on systems with 36mm x 24mm (135mm full frame) sensors, delivering exceptional clarity and magnification where it counts the most.

The thoughtful design of the WFL08S sets it apart. Featuring a standard M67 (67mm) mounting thread, it securely attaches to a wide range of underwater housing ports. Its slim final diameter of just 61mm is a significant advantage for serious macro shooters. This reduced profile allows your strobes or video lights to penetrate more effectively, even when you are at the minimum focus distance, eliminating harsh shadows and illuminating your subject perfectly. Furthermore, the smaller diameter enables you to get your camera lower to the seabed, which is ideal for capturing subjects on flat surfaces without disturbing the environment and achieving a more dramatic perspective.

Achieve breathtaking magnification and image quality. The WFL08S provides a powerful +6 diopter, translating to a true 1.5x magnification factor that brings minuscule details to life with incredible fidelity. The lens is constructed with precision from high-grade optical glass, arranged in 3 elements across 3 groups. This sophisticated optical formula ensures outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness, high contrast, and minimal chromatic aberration. Each glass element features an anti-reflection coating to suppress flare and ghosting, ensuring your images are vibrant, crisp, and crystal clear even in challenging lighting conditions.

This macro lens offers a versatile working distance ranging from 80mm to 160mm, giving you ample space between your lens and the subject. This flexibility is crucial for managing your lighting setup and for shooting shy or skittish critters without startling them. For added creative control, the front of the lens is also finished with a 67mm thread, allowing for the attachment of compatible creative filters or other accessories to further enhance your underwater imaging potential. Built for the demands of the aquatic environment, the WFL08S is robust and durable, ready to explore the depths with you.
