Detachable cover, hand washable: polyester. Padding in high density foam. NB Complies with the BS EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2 Motorcyclists´ protective clothing against mechanical impact - Part 2 : motorcyclists´ back protectors - Requirements and test methods. The fact that it is intended for motorcycling does not mean that it cannot be used for equestrian sports, but it cannot replace a body protector tested and approved to the EN13158:2018 Standard, which is meant for equestrian sports.
