The VIBRAM® Megagrip locks you to the ground, whether it´s wet granite or steep gravelly trails - wherever you choose to adventure.

Unlike other very sticky grips, it´s also long-wearing.

This shoe will last, and last.

- VIBRAM® Litebase.

The VIBRAM® Litebase outsole is thinner (by up to 50%) which makes it lighter (by up to 30%).

That lighter weight is great for saving energy when conditions get tough.

And it comes with no impact on comfort or performance:you still get 5mm lugs plus an 8mm drop.

- Durable ripstop upper.

A polyester water repellent ripstop mesh to protect the Sympatex® waterproof membrane.

Asymmetrical lacing increases support and reduces pressure points.

- EVA midsole.

From all-day training in a wet forest to battling through a snowy mountain pass on weekend hike, the EVA foam midsole offers lighter weight, supreme cushioning, and step-enhancing rebound (with a 31/23mm stack height).

I bought them for "hiking" use, but I also tested them on trails. They are light, strong, waterproof, very grippy, reassuring in trail conditions. In long hiking conditions, they are just as light, strong, stable and waterproof. On the other hand, with an additional heavy load, muscle fatigue is felt beyond 10 km. Concerning the size, they fit a little larger than expected, the next pair I would take them half a size less.

At first glance, these are great shoes. I bought it for running in the snow in winter. Since winter has not yet arrived, I will run in them later. So far I can appreciate the quality and appearance. Made with high quality, they definitely won’t get wet. They are light. I haven’t figured out the size yet, maybe I made a mistake and should have taken one size smaller, but this will be clear in the future. Otherwise I'm happy with the purchase.
