So far, so great. I'm very happy. Keep in mind that, at least in these shoes, Salomon sizes down. I'm a 39 EU, and in these shoes I wear a 41.

Although they work very well on trails and easier terrain, this time I bought them in black for street use due to their lightness, comfort, and protection from the rain. All I have to do is test how long the sole lasts on hard ground.

I bought these shoes for off road running. They are a good fit. The soles promise good grip on mud and wet grass. The reinforced toe suggests good protection on stony ground. The low profile suggest good stability for sure footed running on all surfaces yetthe padding suggest good cushioning for hard ground. BUT I haven't been able to run in them. I wore them around the house to check the fit, recycled the packaging and set off for a walk. I stopped to adjustthe lacing and one of the lugs came away so they cannot tighten evenly. So before i can run in £100 worth of shoes i have had do get out needle and thread and repair them! how long will the other lugs last?
