A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of attending the exclusive launch event for the new Babolat x Lamborghini BL002 racquet in Marbella. It was a unique experience where we not only got to try out this gem, but also felt the adrenaline rush behind the wheel of a Lamborghini.

Supercar technology

The BL.002 is the result of a collaboration between Babolat and Lamborghini , combining the best of both worlds: padel innovation and supercar engineering. This racket features a 3K carbon monocoque frame and Koridion foam, materials used in Lamborghini chassis, offering exceptional rigidity and energy response.

It also incorporates TPS (Thermoplastic Polyurethane Surface) technology , a thermoplastic layer that protects the carbon surface and improves comfort upon impact.

Available in two colors inspired by Lamborghini´s iconic supercars—green and black—the BL.002 not only stands out for its performance, but also for its aggressive and elegant aesthetic. With only 5,000 units available worldwide , this racket is positioned as a collector´s item for padel and luxury car enthusiasts.

Our experience in Marbella

Thanks to Babolat Spain, we had the privilege of attending the exclusive BL002 launch event in Marbella (see on Instagram) . There, we not only put this gem to the test on the track, but also experienced Lamborghini firsthand... behind the wheel of one!

The racket surprised us from the first shot: power, precision, and a firm response that was noticeable on every point. We also shared the day with padel legends like Fernando Poggi , in an atmosphere that exuded high performance and style.
