What is a Motherboard for a computer?

A motherboard is the chief component of your computer. It is a circuit board inside a computer that connects the different components of a computer together.
The motherboard has sockets for the CPU, RAM, and expansion cards. In addition, the Asus motherboard also hooks up to front panel ports, hard drives, disc drives with cables and wires.
The motherboard is also known as the backbone of a computer. Motherboard links all the separate parts of a computer together and enables the CPU to access and control these individual components.
On the other hand, the motherboard ports also enable you to connect external devices such as the monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, headphones, microphone, modem, and other USB devices to your computer. Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Asrock, and Nzxt are the famous manufacturers of computer motherboards.
