Carp Expert Scobar Bolognese Rod

CARP EXPERT SCOBAR BOLO ROD The Carp Expert Scobar Bolo is the finest and lightest member of Energofish´s revamped series of bolo rods for 2024. It allows for the finest bait presentation and careful strikes. Visually, it´s noticeable that the rod has a distinct character! The elegant burgundy base color is adorned with silver, white, and black patterns and inscriptions! The reel seat is fastened with black thread, embellished with a silver stripe. The distance from the bottom of the reel seat to the end of the rod is 41 cm, making it a perfect fit for an average height angler´s forearm. It doesn´t protrude too much to hinder use and isn´t too short to be uncomfortable to handle. In terms of thickness, the measurements are as follows: 17-20-22 mm for the thickest diameter of the 4-5-6 meter versions. This pole stands out extremely from Energofish, but also from any other manufacturer´s bolo fishing rods. Its IM8 material allowed for the creation of a fantastic rod with a thin diameter.

Moving up the rod, you can see that it´s equipped with a highly durable ring set, which, thanks to its special design, prevents line twist! It´s lightweight and pleasant to the eye. Its SIC inserts will definitely not damage even the thinnest monofilament lines.

These diameters ensure that the rod´s characteristics and character can be fully utilized, but it doesn´t mean that the rod is impossible to break! Proper line selection doesn´t exempt us from careful and professional use! Therefore, it´s essential to use at least a 3-meter handle landing net, and we don´t hold the rod at such an angle that its tip bends too much. If we judge that we want to ´´fly´´ the fish on the hook, we don´t pull it close to us and lift it out, but rather we bring it closer to the surface while it´s still inside the water, and when it calms down, we lift it with a decisive upward motion. This way, the rod bears most of the load when the tip of the rod is still at a large angle with the rod itself!
