How can I know that Wavein sells the original Daiwa Fuego 2023?

This is the 2023 model. I purchased it for the UK because DAIWA would not get in to the UK for retail. I purchased because I had one from 2020 and was such a fan of the model. I use it for UK bass fishing with 30lb DAIWA J BRAID 4000 size and it´s so good I brought a second!

Hi mate, well I have the 2020 one which was the first one I bought and for a year now I have had the 2023 one. The main differences I see are that the 2023 has more ratchet which for me is a plus, I also notice a change with the pick up it is thicker, the handle is thinner. For everything else they are the same you won´t notice any differences other than the external part of the reel, for my taste if you have them at the same or similar price I would tell you to get the 2023 for aesthetics and that the ratchet is very different, things that I didn´t realize until I had both in my hand and the sound is amazing. I hope I have been of help to you.
