There´s a nut on the opposite side, and a threaded bar through the reel, attached to the handle. When the nut is unscrewed, it allows the handle to fold. When screwed tight, the handle is firmly attached in unfolded position. Nothing to worry about, it´s a very normal arrangement on a really good reel.

Sadly, the upgrade to one-piece srew-on type handle only happened to JDM and USA modells. For European market, they kept the original folding type with hex axis, even if they painted it with the new colours. Marketing could also be confusing, as advertisement data is JDM based, so on the pictures you will see the screw-on type handle, but it nonetheless is a folding type (in Europe). I faced with the same situation with a 6000 LT modell: I ordered it BECAUSE of the new screw-on type handle (and because of some other genereal '20 to '23 upgrades), but had to send it back as it was a hex-through folding type in real life. If you desire to have screw-on type from Legalis family, you should either buy an Exceler or a Fuego. I have already purchased both kinds, so here are some extra tips: Exceler is cheaper but actually runs with less effort due to the abscence of Magseal. Also, Fuego in EU market will NOT have a collapsible handle knob as what you can see in the YT reviews, it is riveted just like its lower price-ranged friends. And I would say it is also worth upgrading to '23 modells or buying them in the first place instead of earlier ones, both the inside setup and the startup intertia is mentionably better.
