Good device, very responsive touch screen, clear display, fast satellite search. However, it is necessary to connect an external GPS antenna (the simple ones for €10 are enough) otherwise it does not find satellites. For the other functions I will evaluate as soon as installed.

Hello, I would like to order the TS18s from you. Is it possible for you to program the MMSI and ATIS data, possibly also the ship´s name and call sign, so that we can use it right away? Regards and thanks, U.

It is possible to program the MMSI code. For the ATIS code I do not know, I do not use it. Name and callsign of the ship I do not think it is possible, since it is only an AIS receiver and not a transponder. For the rest excellent device, I am happy, I also added the external handset, it works very well. Fair winds. Alessandro

Hello, I entered my MMSI and my ship´s name (TS18) myself. It wasn´t particularly difficult. I can´t say whether the sales company will enter it. I can only say that it´s a very good device with excellent features and everything you could want.

Hello, you can enter the MMSI and ATIS on the device without any prior knowledge. Entering the number is child´s play. You will need to confirm the entered number again at the end. This eliminates the possibility of incorrect entries.

Good morning. I would like to know if the received AIS signals can be sent to a plotter or PC connected to an NMEA 0183 or 2000 network. I also wanted to know if the optional handset has an orange display or like the TS18. I would also like to know if the display of the HM390 model is only orange or can it be changed. Thanks

I would think that if you also connect the huminication to your nmea network, it will transmit to your plotter or PC.
