SAFETY MODULE 12A EMERGENCY BATTERY (GMDSS)
It includes:
- 1 240 x 130mm silkscreen plate.
- 4 3.5 x 16 screws
- 2 Green led state batteries
- 1 Green led auto mode
- 2 Yellow led manual batteries
- 1 Manual / automatic selector
- 1 Emergency battery voltmeter
- 1 Emergency battery ammeter
- 1 Buzzer stop button
- 1 Resettable output fuse
- 1 Instruction manual

OPERATION:
When connecting the module in AUTOMATIC mode it analyzes the state of the batteries and if they are correct it emits 3 beeps, turns on the status LEDs and supplies the radio with the service battery.
When the module detects that the service battery is below 24V or 12V, as the selection switch is set, the radio is switched to the emergency battery, the service status LED flashes and the buzzer is activated.
When the module detects that the emergency battery is below 25.0V (or 12.5V), the emergency status LED flashes, it activates the buzzer and in case of use also the load relay.
The buzzer can be canceled by the ´STOP´ button but, if the battery status does not change, it will be reactivated after 59m.
If the service battery recovers and exceeds the switching voltage by 0.5V, the module will switch the radio back on the service battery.
By means of the front selector we can force to work directly on emergency or on services, in the later case the module will be disconnected.
