Features of Aqualung Superzip 5 mm

Product description of Aqualung Superzip 5 mm booties

Description summary

The 5mm Superzip has an extra-thick sole, heavy-duty protective panels on the upper, and a durable zipper to withstand years of use without tearing. This is the boot for an avid diver who needs to be prepared for cold water, rough terrain, less-than-luxurious boats, and murky, low-viz conditions that hide hazards.

Features:

Ergonomic:
- Like the rest of the Aqua Lung boot line, the Superzip uses our patented, anatomically correct ERGO™ shaped footbed and outsole to match the profile of your foot, preventing excess water retention and offering comfortable support

Protective:
- 8mm-thick treaded sole provides premium protection against punctures, stings, and slips. For added protection and durability, the panels on the heel cap, toe, and top of the foot are twice as thick as in the standard boots!

Warm:
- 3, 5 or 7mm neoprene upper for the right amount of warmth in any conditions

Comfortable:
- The Superzip boot uses just a few seams, which are placed away from the widest parts of the feet to minimize chafing

Durable closures
- With a heavy-duty, non-corrosive #10 YKK toothed zipper. Elastic binding at the top resists wear and tear

What our customers are saying about Aqualung Superzip 5 mm booties

These wetsuit boots offer excellent quality and comfort for water activities. Buyers praise their good fit, durable construction, and effective insulation, keeping feet warm in cooler conditions. The non-slip, reinforced soles provide secure footing and protection against sharp objects. While generally true to size, many recommend ordering a size up for a perfect fit, especially if wearing thicker socks. The design includes features like secure closures and good grip for fins, making them ideal for diving, snorkeling, and beach sports

Thepilgrim

Very nice booties but be careful because the size is definitely smaller than indicated by at least one size. If you have a high instep like me, you´ll have a bit of trouble putting them on

They run much smaller than stated

2026/05/28

Andreas

Don´t run any smaller than indicated, I usually wear a 43-44. They don´t fit at all. My girlfriend wears a size 41 and they fit her

They fit the foot very well and limit the entry of water. However, for winter, thicker ones are better. Order one size larger than you usually wear. I had to correct the size in my case.

5mm boots. Good quality boot that sits nicely on foot. Comfortable walking for medium distance, swim and snorkel - Peljesac, Croatia. Effective protection against sharp stones. Keeps feet warm, which is always appreciated. Boots sizing is accurate, if you prefer to have more will - go half size up.

I wear 38eur and according to the opinions I asked for a 39eur, pay attention and ask for one more number because those of my size would have had to change them, ask for one more size than the one they have For the rest, they are top

Very good booties

2022/09/15

Rafa

The truth is that I have not yet tried them in the water, but only the presentation and the presence they have, you can see that they have a lot of quality, I have tried them and I think they may be a little fair. I bought one size more than the usual shoe as recommended and they fit me a little fair, but as I said, I have not tried them in water yet. The feel is very good, the zipper and velcro closure look very good, as does the neoprene and rubber used. In addition, being aqualung already says a lot, it is a brand that, for my taste, is very good, everything I have tried is great.

Absolutely recommended

2021/12/30

Daniele

Ordered one pair of boots to play beach tennis outside on the sand in winter and these can keep your feet really warm. Bought a 49 size since I planned to wear thick socks, I usually wear a 45 in normal shoes and they are effectively a little too large, 47 or 48 would surely be sufficient. Another positive aspect is that they have a wide sole.
