Buddy-watcher BW 001

Buddy-Watcher
The Buddy Watcher is the first silent signal transmitter under water. Contrary to the acoustic function of horns and shakers, this device transmits a vibration and in that way the signal is only for the own buddy to feel. It is so easy – by pressing the call-button you cause a vibration of your Buddy’s device and shortly after you will have his attention.
Out of this you will have the following advantages:
- Pure relaxation while diving, the system does not cause any noises because of the vibration
- Simplified buddy to buddy communication with the permanent connection through ultra sound
- Personified vibration alarm, only the own buddy receives the call-signal, everyone else will not be disturbed
- Ideal for photo- and videographer, with a reach up to 20 meter
- Noticeable on every wet suit and dry suit

Programmable: Important: new functions can be transferred onto every Buddy Watcher with an update. To transfer the updates it is currently necessary to send it to the developers. Processing will be dealt through the website, because there is a high effort for the developers.
Depth: Every device has been developed for scuba diving and is therefore watertight up to max. 40m.
Range of application: Every Buddy Watcher is suitable for salt water and fresh water.
Rechargeable battery: polymer-lithium-ion battery, a standard battery from the mobile communication sector. This is the reason, why the device is maintenance-free.
The ba
ttery lifetime is longer than 300 charging cycles. The loss of capacity after 300 charging cycles is at maximum 20 %.
The
capacity of the battery is sufficient for 6 dives of 60 minutes, assumed that the devices will be turned off in between the dives.
Char
ging with conventional USB chargers is possible.
Important: the Buddy Watcher works through a very low power, which is not harmful for the maritime environment (especially not for whales and dolphins).
