Fantastic price on a small entry gun. I bought the 35cm for lionfish in Carribean shoreline waters. The shower provided is a 7mm size. The spear doesn't lock into the trigger mechanism without me pushing the trigger forward one the spear is inserted. Performance on lionfish is good if you can get close. I've had to adjust to aim just in front of lionfish because the trigger/band noise is pretty loud and they're on the move before the spear gets there if they've been shot at before. The (add on) Cressi trident tip is way too big for lionfish on this gun. The 35cm size is easy to maneuver in tight coral formations and I don't need a chest pad to pull the band back like on my big Riffe gun.

Previous reviews should have listed the length of the item they bought. At 35 cm, I guess it´s easy to load and not that powerful. I ordered the 75 cm, can´t even load it properly (difficult but expected), and it hits like a train. Choose the version according to your needs. Cressi quality, so you know what you are getting.

Easy to use. Very Accurate aiming. Lack a little power for shots longer than 1.5 meters. No problem penetrating 6 kg cods, but you literally have to sneak up close before shooting. 2 years of use and still going great.
