CALIBRO provides a group of technical advantages that Cressi has been incorporating in the last seasons in different models. It combines a great technicality with a captivating design and medium dimensions, both of the frame and of the skirt. Its exclusive structure integrates the frame in the skirt instead of overlapping them. This exclusive construction system, that allows great lightness (118 g), reduces to the absolutely minimum the thickness improving also the internal volume, the visibility and the adaptation of the mask. Furthermore, it improves the mask watertightness, cancels any uncomfortable contact possibility between frame and front, and removes any vision from the inside to the frame central area. Its skirt optimizes the empty gaps and reduces the internal volume until only 85 cm3. The lens / face distance has been reduced to the limit that the skirt doesnt make the known suction effect, it simply settles on the face providing the perfect watertightness thanks to its design and its studied relation thickness / silicone rigidity level. Inclined lenses that are extended via soft curved lines over the cheekbones, improving the inferior and side visibility which are practically unlimited. The extremely thin frame and the studied assembly with the delicate frontal bone area optimize the superior visibility without damaging the adaptation ability. The buckles, assembled into the frame to achieve a better mask stability and an adjustable tension, arecompletely folding and tilting in all ways. Thats why the breaking possibility is almost inexistent. This kind of anchorage helps to improve also the mask stability, because the strip tension is made over a rigid element and the breathing tube and the face dont affect to the skirt.

This was my first modern freediving mask, and it was a very good choice. Fits my face, comfortable, no leaks, good field of view. Cressi quality and made in italy. But the fog stop didn‘t work for me. Severe fogging, needed burning and sea-buff several times. And the fog-stop lip was uncomfortable after a while. Worst of all, the separation of the nose compartment hindered me with precharging the mask before the dive, I had always the feeling that there wasn‘t enough air in the mask when starting the dive. But his is just my personal experience. Will try the Cressi Nano next.

Good quality mask. Very good field of view (for a low volume mask). Comfortable to the face with very supple silicone. The silicone flaps that internally isolate the nose form the rest of the mask seem to contribute to the non fogging effect. However my nose is rather wide on the upper part and the flaps rubbed against the sides of my nose which was a bit annoying. I would recommend it but I would advise to try it on first if your nose is above average in width.

The mask has a great fit, thanks to the "wings" on the side, the mask sits firmly on the face. The mask will also remain in place when the snorkel is passed under the mask strap. With other masks I often had the problem that when I took the snorkel out of my mouth, water penetrated the mask from the side, but this has never happened to me with the Calibro.

By far, the most comfortable mask I've ever used. After being in the water for a while, you sometimes forget that you have it on. Only had leakage issues on 2 occasions, but I do find the ends of the straps come out of the plastic holder at the side a bit too often. Field of vision is okay, but the anti fog does not seem to work for me. Perfect mask for freediving and spearfishing.

I put a lighter + toothpaste on the mask and tried it out at the pool. Before entering the water I put saliva on the lenses. After 40 minutes, the left lens began to fog up. In sea water with much colder temperatures I suspect it will fog up like any other glasses. In short they are not "100% anti fog". Very good comfort and tightness.

I bought this mask to replace a cressi ochio plus (which was still a TOP mask today) and this was the only mask that surpassed it in quality. The anti fog system prevents the steam coming from the nose to go directly to the glass, but it does not completely avoid it after some time. If used after burning the lens and using a good anti-fog, there is no trace of condensation. 100% recommend

It has a plastic edge that is pressed into your face again in underwater hockey when someone accidentally bumps into you or kicks you. I use it with Head Bio Defog with great success. You may use it without a defog product but the price addition is too small to matter. Overall the mask fits my narrow face well. The rubber is soft and the low volume of air makes it perfect to dive when snorkeling.

The mask as successor of my Cressi-Nano fit well on my narrow face. I've worn them 2x / week in the indoor pool or in the lake and once for about 7 days by the sea. The fog system worked better than the usual masks, but it was still not perfect, so I helped with Fog spray anyway. Unfortunately, after 8 months has become leaky, although I have always kept them in the container.
