After the overwhelming success of Leonardo, the most recognized Italian diving gear brand hits the ball out of the park again thanks to subsidiary Cressi Elettronica’s effort. It´s time to travel beyond the depths with the Cressi Donatello diving computer.

Donatello is a very strong and practical modular computer that makes the most of what Cressi learned with their first dive computer to give you even more clarity and ease of use when below the surface. This is largely due to the design of its User-Friendly Display System (UFDS) screen, whose contrast, proportions, and size have been optimized to make its indicators easy to read even during an emergency. The Donatello also has dual-mix Nitrox management, deep stop, RGBM algorithm, and specific modes for various disciplines.

The display is easy to control thanks to a multifunction push button that allows on-the-fly changes through each of the Donatello´s functions and gives you more freedom of movement, something that will certainly be appreciated by technical diving and apnea divers. Other technical advantages of the Donatello include a saltwater-calibrated depth gauge for greater accuracy and an easily replaceable CR2450 battery.

Donatello is the successor of the prestigious leonardo and has been designed, developed and produced in italy 100% by its subsidiary cressi elettronica. it is a completely modular, robust and wide-screen ufds construction computer that inherits the proverbial ease of navigation and menus of computers with cressi software. it has very complete nitrox management with two mixtures, depth gauge mode, apnea mode, reset option. the algorithm incorporates rgbm and deep stop.

- Menus and navigation system identical to other cressi dive computers, therefore, with ease of reading, data access and modification of model parameters. remarkable ease of configuration, navigation through the different menus and access to the large amount of information provided always very intuitive even having a single button.

- Use friendly display system´´. the distribution of information, screen contrast, proportions and size of the digits have been studied to facilitate reading. all data are presented segmented with slight lines of separation that facilitate reading even in situations of stress or emergency. backlight display by push button or in case of alarm.

- New high performance and low consumption processor. it allows much faster data processing, greater backlight power and alarm sound and multiplies the battery´s autonomy by two compared to previous models. arm cortex m3 32 bit cpu | frequency14 mhz | 256 kb flash memory | 32 kb ram.

- User replaceable cr2430 battery without tools.

- Interface with connection to the dive computer by bluetooth simply supporting the computer and connection to the pc with usb cable. software compatible with all windows and mac versions.

- Gauge calibrated in salt water for maximum precision in the most common use.

It's a bit difficult to navigate through the menu at first (there's only one button that you use to set everything). I preferred DHL ... instead of normal mail ... which increases customs cost ... 14 days to receive it in Chile .... It would be good if the invoice details what type of product it is ... since customs retained it ... because the invoice legend only shows "cressi donatello" ... and it cost me to explain that it was a dive computer ... which I appreciate customs ... otherwise it looks robust and of very good quality .. they should make a pack and add bluetooth interface ... plastic dome that protects dome is removable but did not fit when received. in general happy I have almost bought several items with you.
