Unfortunately, I can´t help you with the size of the fins. But I suspect that it´s about the size of the fin holders in combination with certain fins. In my experience, it´s not important which fins you wear the fin holders with. I would always wear fin holders if you have fins that are a little too big and you would lose them if you were swimming fast or kicked hard. One solution is to wear socks in your fins. With socks, power transfer is better. Fin holders, on the other hand, ensure that you don´t lose your fins so quickly. Fin holders are particularly recommended if you´re swimming competitively. Regarding the size of the fin holders: I have a size 46/47, a fairly wide foot and high heels. The size "L" of the fin holders fits me. For a size 43/44, "M" could be an option, especially since these fin holders are very stretchy. Another tip for making fins and fin holders last longer: The black rubber lasts much longer if you rub it with talcum powder from time to time (with a cloth or brush). The sun´s rays and salt or chlorinated water in particular have a strong effect on the black rubber.Have fun snorkeling/diving/swimming!

An M is enough because it is very elastic and will keep your foot connected to the fin. I have the same size combination as you, 43-44 foot pocket and 3mm bootie, I have a 42 foot. Regards,

I have very similar Cressi fins, I bought them in my usual size and they are very comfortable thanks to the real rubber. I guess 3mm socks would add one size. I also these fin holders, however for different (freediving) fins. I would choose size L.
