The most revolutionary aspect of the redesign applied to the Gara Modular Impulse is a decreasing-thickness polypropylene blade - from 4 mm at the base to 2 mm at the edge - that increases the acceleration generated with less pedaling effort. A novel 29º angulation gives you a wider pedaling cone and is useful for demanding swimming moments, such as ascending to the surface or ballast-assisted descents.

The Gara Modular Impulse’s fin edge design received a retouch to increase pedaling stability, thanks to two thermoplastic rubber spoilers spoilers that reduce the blade’s arc. These fins’ foot pocket keeps its double material construction philosophy - 75º shore thermoplastic rubber in the ribs and 65º semi-flexible rubber in the body – with an anatomical shape that wraps around your foot for reduced energy loss.

Divers with high insteps will also be pleased to know that the Gara Modular Impulse includes a self-adjusting band in this area to expand the foot pocket by 2 to 4 mm according to the user´s needs.

New version of fins with a high-reactivity-modulus polypropylene blade and new design with decreasing thickness (from 4 mm to 2 mm) and a new distribution of the reinforcements, which makes the arc very progressive, avoiding the tendency to skid, since the first half of the set is more rigid and the final half more flexible.

Thankfully there is a lot of dive shops where I am at and they have gracefully allowed me to do a foot fit check before buying this product. The online comments are right, you need to buy a size smaller like in my case, my foot is 10.5 US or 43-44 EU. However, upon foot check, the right order is 42-43 EU (already considering that I will use a 1.5mm neoprene socks). Other than that, product is very durable.

Well I share my opinion and my experience because of my height and weight I also had doubts about knowing what type of fins would suit me. I am 1.87 m tall and weigh 100 kilos and I practice freediving or spearfishing as it is known. These fins just arrived on 03/20/25 and I was able to test them in current for long distances and up and down and they seem excellent to me. Something you have to keep in mind is that they are fins that are 92 cm long by 21.6 cm wide and push a large volume of water which if you are not used to it, it tires you out very quickly on long trips, but it is only necessary to practice in daily use. I am already adapting to the size and the strength required, therefore I give these fins my vote of excellence and something to keep in mind is the size, many say that you have to order one size less or one size more because the sizes are not the same everywhere, but for Colombia the size is the Same EU, I wear a 44 and as for the good fins it's 44-45. I ordered those and they fit me well and they have soles that help you adjust better, therefore I give these fins my seal of excellence. Greetings from Colombia.

These are the ones I was given at the centre to practice apnea and they are fine. Many people have them at my club. What I don't like: - like everything CRESSI, they come without any kind of cover and in a plastic bag. - I hate the concept of giving free advertising (the letters are very large...) Those 2 things seem to me to be reason enough to give 3/5 stars, but since these are opinions directed at buyers and not at the brand, I give 4/5. Namely: I have had to complement it with a 2-3mm sock because in longer sessions the instep ends up hurting me (it digs into me). They are large. I wear a 39 and I bought them as a 36-37.

Owner of Cressi Gara LD fins, I have just acquired the Gara Impulse and the difference is incredible. Fins more efficient with the new polypropylene, more stable thanks to the longer fins. Definitely the best polypropylene fins I have bought. Be careful if you wear a 42 like me, remember to take a 40-41 (one size less) because the slippers are big and especially wide. I highly recommend these fins.

Love these flippers! Perfect amount of bend, the color, the fit.... love love love! I went a size down, I'm usually a 39/40 and went with the 38/39 and they fit great without socks which is ideal for me. I did wear them with socks and they still fit but were very tight. The sizing is assuming you'll be wearing socks so keep in mind wear you'll be using them to guide you on the size to get.

Great finnish, very flexible. I wear them with 2,5 mm socks from Cressi and ordered my normal size (40-41, my actual size is 41). In contrast: there is not enough space left for the soles to fit. Based on a dry fit I was scared that the combination would be too small, but once under water it was great. I´m very fast under water with a minimum amount of energy. On the surface and during snorkeling they are not perfect but good enough. As other people also reviewed, the fins did not arrive perfectly scratch free but during the use they will get a few scratches anyway :-) Thank you once again Scubastore for a great delivery.

Gm. I have a question. I bought the c4 predator diving fins. I myself have eu size 35.5/36. I bought the fins in size eu 36/37. But these are still too tight. I have a slightly higher instep. Now I am interested in the cressi modular impuls freediving fins. Which size or model would be better for me? Mainly freediving.

They run a little big. I wear a size 41, and a size 41 is a bit big on me. It would be better to go one size down. I´m talking about sizing in Spain specifically.

I normally wear size 42/43. I bought the fins in size 42-43. I can use them without neoprene socks, but also with 1.5mm socks. The fins are a bit larger. A bit loose without socks, but still easy to dive. The blades are definitely not too soft. I would classify them as "harder medium". I am absolutely happy with them.

They run large, more or less one size larger, so that´s what you have to keep in mind, buy the fins before deciding on the thickness of the boot. I suppose with 3mm the EU42-43 will be fine for you

I am also EU 44/45 and the EU 44/45 size fit me perfectly. However, Brazilian sizes are different. In common trainers you need to go up 2 sizes so if the same applies for fins you would need to go with EU 46/47.

my EU foot size is 42.5 and I Get 42-43 with this fins you will be okay. Sometimes i wear socks and its even fits better. Good fins too.

They DO NOT fit in any check-in suitcase, no freediving fin does, but it is plastic but they can be folded or you can remove the pocket and square them and in some airlines by asking you can check them in separately for free

You have to take a smaller size. If you wear a 39 foot, you have to buy the 37/38. This way they will fit closer to your foot and even some booties will work well for you too.

Based on your shoe size is equivalent to 8.5 uk size. 8.5 convert to euro size is 42, but i suggest you to take one size smaller if your sock is 2.5mm.
