Magnetic door octopus complete with hook for fixing to the jackets.

Hole:11 mm aprox.

Experience unparalleled convenience and safety on every dive with the CRESSI Magnetic Octopus Holder Support. Designed for the discerning diver who values efficiency and reliability, this essential accessory addresses the common problem of a dangling or insecure alternate air source. By keeping your octopus regulator exactly where you need it, this holder ensures it is always ready for immediate deployment in an emergency, providing critical peace of mind for you and your dive buddy. Say goodbye to fumbling for a loose regulator and hello to a streamlined, secure, and professional dive setup.

The heart of this support system is its powerful, yet easily separable, magnetic connection. This intelligent design provides a firm hold during your dive, preventing your octopus from dragging along the seafloor, getting snagged on wrecks or reefs, or being damaged by impacts. This not only protects your expensive dive equipment from abrasion and contamination but also helps preserve fragile marine ecosystems. When you or your buddy need the alternate air source, a simple, firm tug is all it takes to release the regulator, ensuring effortless access even when wearing thick gloves or experiencing high-stress situations. The intuitive nature of the magnetic release is a significant safety enhancement over cumbersome clips or pockets.

Installation is simple and versatile. One part of the holder features a robust, integrated hook that securely clips onto a D-ring or webbing on your BCD (Buoyancy Control Device), allowing for optimal placement within the "golden triangle" for easy access. The corresponding piece fits snugly around the hose of your octopus regulator, creating a complete and reliable docking system. This CRESSI accessory is a small investment that delivers a massive return in safety, equipment longevity, and overall diving comfort.

Supports
* Secure Placement: Keeps your alternate air source predictably and securely positioned on your BCD.
* Rapid Deployment: Allows for quick, one-handed release of the octopus regulator in an emergency.
* Streamlined Profile: Eliminates dangling equipment, reducing drag in the water and preventing entanglement.
* Equipment Protection: Shields your regulator mouthpiece from sand, debris, and direct impact with the seabed or other surfaces.
* Environmental Conservation: Prevents your gear from dragging across and damaging sensitive coral reefs and marine life.

The magnet is powerful and therefore holds the octopus very well. Personally, I changed the plastic hook to replace it with a stainless steel carabiner (the only negative point). Delivery time respected

works as intended

XMOD

The CRESSI magnetic holder works very well and securely holds the regulator in one position during diving. The magnet is strong enough, yet allows for quick detachment if needed. It is a simple and practical accessory that improves comfort and safety underwater

a must-have

Alx

Simply a must-have. I prefer to have my Octopus attached and always within reach connected to the bottom of my BCD rather than folded in a pocket and it comes off half the time. In case of need I know immediately where it is. The magnet is sufficient but not excessive. Never detached, it´s great

Strong magnet and correct maintenance of the octopus while diving. By bringing the Octopus closer to the magnetic base a few centimeters, it is sucked up with energy. Perfectly fulfills its function, tried diving.
