DE PROFUNDIS Exploration Reel | 120m Non-Floating Line

Category: Accessories
Subcategory: Reels and spools

Discover the pinnacle of reliability and precision engineering with the DE PROFUNDIS Exploration Reel, an essential tool for the serious technical diver. Designed for uncompromising performance in the most demanding underwater environments, this reel provides the security and flawless operation you need when laying guidelines, exploring wrecks, or deploying a surface marker buoy from depth. Every component is meticulously crafted to ensure smooth, tangle-free use when it matters most.

The DE PROFUNDIS Reel is built for durability and superior handling. Its robust frame is machined from a single piece of high-grade, hard-coated aluminium, offering exceptional resistance to corrosion, impacts, and the general wear and tear of technical diving. The sleek, premium finish is not just for aesthetics; it signifies a build quality that is second to none. A large, easy-to-grip stainless steel screw allows for effortless tension adjustment, even when wearing thick gloves, giving you complete control over line deployment speed.

What truly sets this reel apart from competitors is its innovative central mechanism. Instead of rotating on a simple screw, which can cause friction, wear, and potential jamming, the DE PROFUNDIS reel operates on a custom-designed central bush. This advanced bushing system guarantees an ultra-smooth and consistent rotation, allowing for frictionless line payout and retrieval. This crucial advantage eliminates frustrating snags and ensures your focus remains on the dive, not on your equipment.

This new, modified version features an intelligently designed spool with improved flanges that effectively prevent the line from slipping or sliding down into the gap between the spool and the frame. This critical update ensures your line remains neatly wound and ready for immediate, tangle-free deployment at a moment´s notice.

Ready to use straight out of the box, the reel comes pre-spooled with 120 meters of high-visibility, 2 mm non-floating line. This type of line is preferred by technical divers as it sinks, creating a clear and direct guideline that won´t float up and create an entanglement hazard. To complete this expedition-grade package, it includes a heavy-duty 120 mm stainless steel double-ender bolt snap (A4 / W316 marine grade), providing a secure, corrosion-proof attachment point to your BCD or harness.

Choose the DE PROFUNDIS Reel for unparalleled performance, durability, and the peace of mind that comes from trusting your life-support equipment.
