Product Title: Dive Rite 2-Inch Crotch Strap for Harness Systems

Product Description:

Enhance your diving security and comfort with the Dive Rite 2-Inch Crotch Strap, an essential accessory for any diver utilizing a backplate and harness system. A stable and secure gear configuration is paramount for safety and control in the water, and this robust strap is engineered to deliver unwavering reliability. It is specifically used for fastening a harness and backplate securely to a diver´s body, anchoring the entire rig to prevent unwanted movement. By doing so, it masterfully reduces the likelihood of gear slipping upwards on the body in the water, a common issue that can lead to discomfort and potentially dangerous situations, such as the tank hitting the back of the head during a dive. With this strap, your system stays locked in place, allowing you to maintain perfect trim and focus entirely on your underwater adventure.

Comfort is a cornerstone of the Dive Rite design philosophy. This crotch strap is crafted from a continuous piece of nylon webbing that provides incredible strength, yet is soft and won’t dig into the body. This thoughtful design ensures comfort even during long, demanding decompression dives. To further elevate the user experience and protect your valuable gear, it includes a neoprene sleeve. This sleeve slides over the webbing, providing a soft barrier that protects your exposure suit from abrasion and prevents chafing, ensuring both you and your equipment remain in pristine condition dive after dive.

This accessory is particularly celebrated within the technical and exploration diving communities. It is preferred by divers who use scooters (DPVs) for extended periods of time due to the added comfort the 2-inch width provides over narrower alternatives. The wider surface area distributes pressure more evenly, significantly reducing fatigue during long scooter runs. For ultimate convenience and safety, the strap features a rugged, welded scooter ring, offering a strong and reliable attachment point for a scooter leash. Proudly made in the U.S.A., the Dive Rite Crotch Strap is a testament to superior craftsmanship and durability for the serious diver.

Good quality of cordura and rings, rigid material. I bought it basically for the neoprene protection that rubs between the legs of the suit.
