The Hero 4K offers a price-quality ratio that is hard to match: it improves in 4K 30 fps and night modes compared to the Hero 3+ Black, while its processor is still capable of competing with current cameras such as the DJI Osmo Action in good lighting situations.

Its weaknesses are the absence of a touch screen and integrated electronic stabilization, features that the Osmo Action does provide.
