Tried only in swimming pool kicking training so far. The weights are quite flexible and do not hurt the ankles. The buckle holds well but the strap loosens and the weights turn. I added a strap block and it is settled but a pity that it is delivered without! The weights are quite small too bad they do not surround the ankle better. The weight is on one side. The weights are 510g each. They are fixed very tight on the support which deforms them a little, they must be reformed before using them. The weight is a bit surprising the first time around and the feet are heavy but after a few lengths you get used to it. They are soft and comfortable, to wear tight so that they do not turn. I don't think they damage the wetsuit. In short, very good but on condition of adding a strap locking buckle.

I bought the 500gs - (which is 1kilo in total). The buckle always loosens, so they won't stay snug. They've never fallen off though. If I new better, I'd have bought the Spettons that my buddy bought - they have double velcro and never come loose.

I ordered this item "pair of ankle pins 2x 500g" on Sunday 13th August and I received it on Saturday 19th August. I will use these lead pins with a waterproof suit with adjoining booties and flippers Mares Avanti quatro over. This should work despite the fact that each lead does not weigh 500g but 470g. "Immersion" would save money by cheating a bit on the lead mass? The price paid remains the best found on the net. I am satisfied with my purchase. Thank you
