IMERSION Pelagic Dirk Knife: The Ultimate Spearfishing Tool for Open Water Hunters

For the dedicated spearfisher who ventures into the blue to hunt pelagic giants, having the right tool for the job is not just a luxury—it´s a necessity. The IMERSION Pelagic Dirk Knife is meticulously engineered to be that tool. Designed specifically for the demands of open-water hunting, this knife delivers the power, precision, and reliability needed to humanely dispatch large game fish swiftly and safely, ensuring your success on every dive. Its stiletto-style design is optimized for one primary purpose: unmatched piercing capability.

The heart of the Pelagic Dirk is its formidable blade. Forged from high-quality Z40C13 tempered stainless steel, it strikes the perfect balance between hardness and durability. With a significant carbon content of 0.40% and 13% chrome, the blade achieves a hardness of 54 HRC. This specific composition provides exceptional resistance to corrosion in harsh saltwater environments while ensuring the blade holds a sharp, resilient point through repeated use. The superior steel quality means you can rely on its strength and edge retention when it matters most.

Stealth is paramount in spearfishing, and the Pelagic Dirk excels in this domain. The entire blade is coated with a non-reflective black Teflon finish. This critical feature prevents any sun or light glint that could startle and spook wary fish, allowing you to get closer to your target. Beyond its tactical advantage, the Teflon coating also reduces friction for smoother, effortless penetration and adds a robust secondary layer of protection against corrosion, further extending the life of your knife.

Control is nothing without a secure grip. The Pelagic Dirk features a state-of-the-art SEBS ergonomic double-component handle. This innovative design incorporates both hard and soft materials, providing a rigid, stable core with a comfortable, high-friction over-molding. This ensures a rock-solid, non-slip grip whether you are bare-handed, wearing thick neoprene gloves, or operating in challenging wet conditions. The ergonomic shape fits naturally in your hand, reducing fatigue and maximizing control and safety during use.

The IMERSION Pelagic Dirk arrives as a complete, mission-ready system. It includes a durable, form-fitting sheath designed for quick and easy access, along with two easy-to-adapt rubber leg straps. This comprehensive package allows for secure and comfortable mounting on your leg, arm, or weight belt, ensuring your knife is always within reach for immediate deployment.

Main Features:

I have tried many things and finally found one! This is the best knife.

Best finishing knife by design BUT...

By design it is easiest to use and penetrate hard skully fish. But it feels like a cheap copy of some original You see in pic5ures and description!! The blade feels like it could easily break, and I do not belive it has described quality of material. The end of handlr is hammer type and in photo is black, while mine has shiny kinda of chrome. And straps included on this are the BULKIEST ever. Totally uncomfortable as bulk, and hard cheap gummy plus they have a double/rocker type of clasp so it is a long time to attach it to Your leg, and long time to detach. Total nonsense of straps!! And this is by price a middle to High class!!! My Cressi Orca, the big one has super smooth straps, Imersion could not afford to make such, obiously. Anyway I like knife for its unique use, which while it lasts performs superbly. Case on its own is good, and knife is extra tiny blade with just right handle. I just wish they make it really worth the money asked!!

Pretty sharp
