Mares Fusion 4 Octopus

MARES Fusion 4 Octopus Regulator

Experience a new level of safety and performance with the MARES Fusion 4 Octopus, the new benchmark in high-performance regulators. Designed for the discerning diver who demands reliability without compromise, this octopus regulator ensures exceptional breathing comfort and ease of use in any out-of-air situation. Sharing the same high-performance structure as the acclaimed Fusion 52x second stage, the Fusion 4 delivers primary regulator performance in a compact, accessible, and highly visible emergency second stage. It´s the ultimate backup system, providing peace of mind and unparalleled functionality when it matters most.

Customizable Breathing with TwinPower and VAD+ System

Achieve unique breathing comfort thanks to the new TwinPower with VAD+ System. For the first time in the history of Mares regulators, you can adjust your second stage and switch between natural and power breathing. This groundbreaking technology gives you unprecedented control over your breathing experience. You can seamlessly switch between a gentle, natural breathing feel for calm conditions and a power breathing mode that delivers a higher, more direct flow rate on demand. The integrated Vortex Assisted Design (VAD+) System further enhances this by creating a swirling vortex of air, ensuring a highly sensitive and stable airflow at all depths, which significantly reduces breathing effort and mimics the effortless sensation of breathing on the surface.

Unprecedented Performance with Modified Bypass

The engineering excellence of the Fusion 4 is showcased in its revolutionary Modified Bypass. Featuring a 77% larger cross-section and a unique double curvature, this innovative design provides unprecedented airflow performance. This advanced architecture ensures an incredibly smooth and abundant delivery of air, drastically reducing the work of breathing and delivering a generous supply when you or your dive buddy need it most. This feature is critical in a high-stress scenario, guaranteeing consistent and reliable air delivery without hesitation.

Ergonomic and Intuitive Design

In an emergency, every second counts, and fumbling with equipment is not an option. The MARES Fusion 4 Octopus features a new purge button that is specifically designed for ease of use even with thick gloves. Its oversized, soft-touch surface makes it simple to locate and operate, allowing for quick and efficient clearing of the regulator. This user-centric design provides critical functionality and confidence in stressful situations, ensuring you can manage your equipment flawlessly. The regulator´s lightweight construction and comfortable mouthpiece reduce jaw fatigue, making it comfortable for a dive buddy to use over an extended period during a shared air ascent.
