Ordered on Sunday 13 August and received on Saturday 19 August this pair of fins is perfectly suited. The size EU 41-44 shown in the description is actually R-coded for Regular on the Marès palm. I use it with a waterproof suit with adjoining booties in size 39. It's just the size it takes. A larger boot would have required the larger palm size. The yellow color seemed the most visible to the divers who follow me and, what is more, it was the best price of the net. I'm happy with my purchase. Thank you

Hello, the answer is complex because you fall right between sizes R (EU 41-43) and XL (44-48). Your 5mm boots make you gain 1 or 2 sizes, so your 42 becomes a 43 or 44 with a risk of being either too tight with size R or too loose with size XL. I would therefore advise you to order both sizes to try them on and return the pair that fit the least. Best regards.

I am a UK size 9 (USA 10/EU 44) and use the 43-45 size fin, which is comfortable with no pinching or cramping. Even though there is overlap between the two sizes (43) and your feet are slightly smaller, I would expect the 43-45 to work for you better than the 38-43.

Hello. I am a little confused. On the Mares website there is only one model of this product, namely Mares Avanti Quattro Plus. But on TradeInn I see that apart from the Mares Avanti Quattro Plus there is another model available called Mares Avanti Plana Quattro Plus, the latter being a little cheaper.
