Being my first dive computer I can not compare. However I can say that I find it comfortable to use, it fits well with the doll even with a 7mm suit + gloves. It is easy to use, the two buttons are handled intuitively but can be somewhat hard and do not have much travel. Their visibility is good, but so far I have not been able to test in low visibility. The main drawback is that the interface to download data sold separately.

Very suitable for beginners and amateur sports divers. Has all the features you need when diving available (Air, Nitrox and Free mode). With two buttons the Menuesteuererung can be operated absolt top. Right price performance.

Does this computer have all the functions that Mares Smart Apnea does? Or does the Smart Apnea computer provide more help for freediving?

The Smart Apnea is a simpler computer with less functionality and can’t be used usefully for SCUBA diving. I think it does exactly what it should for free diving.
Where to change the battery?

Hi Alan, You can change the battery yourself, you just need a small flat screwdriver to remove the two screws that cover the battery. Once removed, you change the battery, which is a CR2430, put the cover that covers the battery, put the screws and that´s it. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that when it warns you of a low battery, have the spare battery and a screwdriver with you for when you have to change it. It is a fantastic computer to start, a safe purchase!
