´Half enclosed´ reel available in two versions: 30 or 50 mt 1,5 mm line capacity. Extendable handle to reduce the size of the reel and steel sliding line guide. The spool has two bushes which eliminate the friction on the spool shaft. Complete with a drag system which keeps the line in tension even with the friction completely open.
Movement
The movement of standard plastic reels is usually very rough. The problem is that the plastic spool rotates on a plastic shaft and this “plastic on plastic” situation creates friction, resulting in an uneven movement. Omersub has solved this problem on Match reels by inserting two brass bushings on the body of the reel. This way the movement is made “plastic on metal” resulting in a perfectly smooth rotational movement.
Retractable Handle
Match 30 and Match 50 feature a retractable handle, operated by a metal spring, greatly reducing the overall dimensions of the reel when not operated.
Locking friction and drag system
The reels are equipped with a classic standard friction which holds the reel in a locked position. In addition, the reels also feature a drag system which keeps the line in tension even when the friction is completely open.
Line guide
A small steel line guide which is free to slide, in a plastic guide on a longitudinal axe, allows the line to scroll out smoothly.

Tough,rot/rust proof,virtually unbreakable.Comes complete with 1.5 mm black Dacron type line.Its unique 2 pin fitting system is so easy & quick (less than 10 seconds!) The drag is progressive,as it should be |& also has a ribbed channel on the top left side in order to allow user to lock up the line,thus saving a "birds nest! which then puts the muzzle bungee into action to tire the fish! Well thought out design,excellent price|&product.

The 30m reel is compact and with plenty of line for most reef spearfishing. At this price it's a really good deal especially considering it comes complete with line. Mounts firmly and easily on OMER guns. The folding handle makes it even more snag-resistant, and the FRN composite material is totally resistant to corrosion. Remember to PULL the handle before trying to fold it, I almost broke mine.

It is economical and functional, it came with the dyne already on the reel, I have it in a 60 cm speargun for hole fishing and it fulfills its task perfectly, since the size is ideal for it.
