Subcategory: Buoys

Elevate your spearfishing experience with the PICASSO Hydro Float Signaling Buoy, a pinnacle of technical design and functionality for the serious spearo. Engineered to optimize your performance and safety in the water, this advanced float sets a new standard for signaling buoys. Its innovative, flat profile is a game-changer, dramatically improving hydrodynamics to ensure it glides effortlessly across the surface with minimal drag. This allows you to move faster and more efficiently, conserving precious energy for your dives.

Built for the rigors of the marine environment, the Hydro Float is exceptionally durable. It is reinforced with a robust external bladder constructed from high-resistance, anti-cut PVC, providing superior protection against abrasions, rocks, and accidental cuts. This rugged build ensures longevity and reliable performance, trip after trip.

One of the most significant innovations is the strategic placement of the primary towing point. A Stainless Steel D-Ring is located underneath the float and is specially backed and reinforced. This clever design prevents the front of the buoy from sinking when pulled, a common issue that creates significant drag. As a result, the PICASSO Hydro Float maintains its position on the surface, sliding smoothly even in choppy water and on windy days, making it one of the most efficient spear fishing floats available.

Storage and accessibility are intelligently integrated into the design. For your most important small items, the float features a completely internal waterproof pocket. Secured with a double Velcro closure system on top, it provides a totally dry and safe space for a car key, spearfishing license, or other valuables you can´t risk losing. For items you need to reach quickly, a large elastic mesh on top is perfect for stowing food, water, or other essentials. Furthermore, quick-access elastic straps are fitted on both sides for additional, versatile stowing options.

The Hydro Float is a true workhorse for gear management. The underside is equipped with a total of 7 D-Rings (5 stainless steel and 2 plastic), offering numerous attachment points. This allows you to securely fix fish-holders, mesh bags, spare spear guns, and a wide array of other accessories, keeping your hands free and your equipment organized.

Safety is paramount, and this buoy delivers maximum visibility. It comes complete with a 50 cm high Alpha flag pole, ensuring you are clearly visible to boats and other water users from very far distances. This high-visibility feature allows you to focus on your hunt with confidence and peace of mind.
