PICASSO Venus LED Torch: Illuminate Your Underwater World with Unrivaled Power and Precision

Discover the ultimate companion for your underwater adventures with the PICASSO Venus LED Torch, a pinnacle of lighting technology engineered for the demanding environments of spear fishing and deep-water exploration. Designed for divers who refuse to compromise on performance, this compact yet immensely powerful torch cuts through the darkest and murkiest waters, revealing the hidden details of the abyss. Whether you´re peering into crevices for a prized catch or navigating a complex reef system, the Venus provides the clarity and reliability you need to dive with absolute confidence.

Exceptional Illumination for Unmatched Visibility

At the heart of the PICASSO Venus lies a formidable 3 Watt high-intensity white LED, meticulously calibrated to produce an astonishingly bright and focused light. Emitting an exceptional 11.000 Lux, equivalent to 300 lumens, this torch generates a powerful and penetrating spot beam that slices through water with minimal diffusion. This focused beam is perfect for long-distance spotting, allowing you to identify targets and survey your surroundings from afar. Its brilliant white light renders colors accurately, ensuring you never miss the subtle camouflage of marine life. This level of performance, falling within the powerful 201-600 lumen category, makes it one of the most effective compact lanterns available for spear fishing.

Engineered for Extreme Durability and Reliability

Crafted from a solid block of 100% anodized aluminum, the housing of the Venus torch is built to withstand the harshest conditions. This robust construction not only protects it from impacts and abrasions but also provides superior resistance to saltwater corrosion, ensuring a long and dependable service life. The integrity of the torch is secured by a state-of-the-art triple O-ring seal, a critical feature that guarantees 100% impermeability. This meticulous engineering allows the Venus to perform flawlessly at depths of up to 100 meters, giving you peace of mind during deep dives and technical explorations.

Intuitive Control and Ergonomic Design

Functionality is paramount when you´re underwater. The PICASSO Venus features an innovative slide magnetic switch, designed for effortless, single-handed operation even while wearing thick gloves. This advanced switch offers more than simple on/off functionality; it provides progressive power output, allowing you to smoothly adjust the brightness from low to maximum power. This intuitive control lets you conserve battery when full power isn´t needed and unleash its full potential in an instant, all without noisy clicks that could startle marine life. Its streamlined body is both compact and lightweight, minimizing drag in the water and making it an ideal primary light or a perfectly packable backup torch.

Powered by three readily available AAA batteries, the Venus provides a minimum of one hour of continuous burn time at maximum power, ensuring you have ample light for your entire dive. It is the essential tool for every serious diver and spear fishing enthusiast seeking power, durability, and unmatched underwater performance.

OSCAR

Small flashlight, but strong, rigid, with the double o-ring that fits perfectly. It makes a powerful light ... we will have to see in low light conditions or at night how it works. Quality-Price is really good, what I value most is that it is not handy and small and that it works with 3 AAA batteries not included. I was looking for a battery-powered flashlight and this one also fulfills this function.

Great light, no batteries.

Armando A Clavero

Light looks great, similar to C4 with the added grip in the body. My only gripe is that it didn't come with batteries like others tend to.

The flashlight you need to whip it underwater

Without unnecessary paraphernalia, comfortable, compact and with a good grip. The material withstands blows and the design invites you to give it a thousand uses.

Best dive light i have ever owned1

Bokerón de Málaga

I haven't dived with this flashlight yet. Now ... it is a flashlight of the highest quality and affordable in price. With aluminum head and body that make it very robust and durable. It has 2 O-rings on the thread of the head (which, I recommend that before use, you rub them with a little Vaseline or moisturizing cream without further ado). "On-of" mode by sliding the magnetic switch, which in turn allows control of light intensity. With safety rope for the wrist. It has a TREMENDOUS LIGHT POWER, which dazzles you just by looking at it. Perfect as a flashlight for professional use. I recommend it 100% and would buy it again without a doubt.

Ideal buyer profiles

General buyers seeking a reliable underwater torch

This buyer is looking for a dependable light source for underwater activities like spearfishing or general diving. They need a torch that is robust, easy to operate, and provides clear illumination in various underwater conditions.

The Picasso Venus Led Torch meets these needs with its powerful 300 Lumen / 11,000 Lux spot beam for superior underwater visibility. Its anodized aluminum body and triple O-ring seal ensure durability and impermeability up to 100 meters. The magnetic switch also allows for progressive power output adjustment, providing control over the light intensity.

Competitive features

When building a complete diving or spearfishing kit, every piece of equipment serves a distinct purpose. The Picasso Venus Led Torch is a specialized lighting tool designed for underwater visibility, contrasting with other essential gear like masks and fins. While products such as the Mares Aquazone La Costa mask or Aqualung Zinger 2.0 fins focus on vision and propulsion, the Venus torch provides a powerful, concentrated light source, crucial for exploring crevices, night dives, or navigating low-visibility water.

Where it excels

The Picasso Venus Led Torch delivers a powerful and focused beam, with a stated output of 300 lumens and 11,000 Lux, making it highly effective for spearfishing and professional use where a penetrating spot beam is required. Built for reliability, it features a robust, 100% anodized aluminum body and a triple O-ring seal, ensuring it remains impermeable up to 100 meters deep. It offers user-friendly operation with a compact design for a comfortable grip and a slide magnetic switch that allows for progressive power output adjustment.

Consider alternatives if...

If your primary need is not for underwater illumination but for basic diving equipment like vision or propulsion, you should consider alternatives such as diving masks or fins. This torch is a specialized tool and does not replace the fundamental functions of masks or fins.

Verdict

The Picasso Venus Led Torch is a high-quality, durable flashlight designed specifically for the demands of spearfishing and professional diving. Its powerful, concentrated beam, robust aluminum construction, and reliable waterproofing down to 100 meters make it an excellent tool for underwater exploration. While it doesn't compete directly with masks or fins, it stands out as a valuable piece of specialized equipment for anyone needing dependable underwater lighting.
