I watched several videos of Salvimar's freedivers and knew: these are the real professionals who set high standards for their materials, so that's a must. The L-sock is very comfortable in my Mares fins (see review by Frans). I'm a size 42 myself, but L is comfortable: the 5mm sock (for water below 18 degrees) fits perfectly in the size 46 fins; the 3mm sock (for 20 degrees water) fine in size 44 fins. I can already see that the sole of the foot and seams are of much better quality than the Subea socks from Decahtlon, of which I wear about five pairs a year. I hope to turn the tide with these high quality (yet reasonably priced) professional diving socks.
