shines really bright and nice wide light and works really well to illuminate the surroundings. the only negative is that it doesn't dim when the battery starts to get worse, but it just goes out. however, works very well for what it is intended for!

A really good product that gives lots of light. Have used the "funnel" for photographing nudibranchs AND IT'S JUST SOMETHING THAT PLAYS MAX! Fantastic buys for photography of small and good light for general photography.

Only received this yesterday so not had a chance to review it properly yet. Due to go to Maldives early November so will let you know more at that time. Looking at it , I think it will definitely help with my macro photography, the full white light looks to be a great help on video reels. Whilst the lower level will be perfect for the small critters. The unit itself is very compact which is exactly what I needed, I'm not into huge great set ups.
