SEALIFE Flash Link Assembly Adapter (SL962)

Illuminate your underwater world and capture breathtakingly vibrant photos with the SEALIFE Flash Link Assembly Adapter. This essential accessory is the critical link for any serious underwater photographer looking to elevate their imagery from good to professional. It provides a simple, reliable, and universal solution for triggering an external flash, unlocking the true color and clarity hidden in the depths. By seamlessly connecting your underwater camera housing to a powerful external strobe like the Sea Dragon Universal Flash, this adapter ensures you get perfectly lit shots, every time.

The primary purpose of this adapter is to transmit your camer´s internal flash signal to an external flash via a fiber optic cable. This method is lightning-fast and incredibly reliable, eliminating the misfires and delays that can ruin a once-in-a-lifetime shot. Moving the flash off-camera is the number one technique for improving underwater photos, as it dramatically reduces or eliminates "backscatter"—the distracting illuminated particles in the water between your lens and subject. The result is images with stunning clarity, rich colors, and deep contrast.

Key Benefits:

* Universal Compatibility: Engineered with a standard 7mm plug, this adapter fits a wide array of underwater camera housings, including those from SeaLife, Olympus, Fantasea, and other major brands that feature a 7mm fiber optic cable port.
* Instantaneous Flash Triggering: The fiber optic connection provides a lag-free, light-speed signal transfer from your camera’s internal flash to your external strobe, ensuring the flash fires at the exact moment you press the shutter.
* Eliminate Backscatter: By enabling the use of an off-camera flash, this adapter is your best tool for producing crystal-clear, professional-quality underwater images free from the haze of illuminated particles.
* Secure and Watertight Connection: Designed for the harsh underwater environment, the adapter features a robust O-ring seal that creates a secure, pressure-proof, and watertight connection to your camera housing, giving you complete peace of mind on your dive.
* Effortless Installation: Get set up in seconds. The simple plug-and-play design allows for quick, tool-free installation and removal, so you can spend less time fiddling with gear and more time capturing incredible moments.
