I bought it for my 8 year old son to have a waterproof hiking boot. It worked very well, kept his feet dry for a long time in rainy weather, plus the ventilation was acceptable. He didn't get an unpleasant smell on his feet even after hiking all day.

The sneakers are very good. The only thing I recommend is taking one more number than usual. I always use 37 and in this model I had to change them for a 38, so perfect!
