The high quality standards of the Polychromos coloured pencils shine through, whether they are used for graphics, artistic free style or for the exact rendition of plans.

Unparalleled Vibrancy and Lightfastness

Experience colour in its purest form. Each Polychromos pencil delivers an extraordinary concentration of brilliant, vibrant pigment with every stroke. The true hallmark of their professional quality lies in their unsurpassed lightfastness ratings. This crucial feature ensures that your artwork will not fade over time, retaining its original intensity and luminosity for decades. Your creations are protected, allowing your artistic legacy to endure just as you envisioned it. The smooth, intense laydown allows for rich, opaque coverage that brings your subjects to life with breathtaking depth.

Superior Performance and Control

Engineered for flawless performance, the Polychromos pencils feature an exceptionally durable, break-resistant lead. This is achieved through a special secural bonding (SV) process that strengthens the entire length of the lead within its casing, giving you the confidence to apply varying levels of pressure, from delicate, light shading to powerful, expressive marks. The lead itself provides a buttery-smooth application that glides across paper. This unique quality makes them ideal for seamless blending and layering. You can apply multiple layers of colour to build up rich, complex tones and textures without any waxy buildup, allowing for incredible depth and realism.

Versatility for Every Artistic Discipline

The inherent qualities of Polychromos pencils make them exceptionally versatile. The point can be sharpened to a fine tip for intricate details, crisp lines, and complex hatching, making them a favourite among illustrators and designers. Simultaneously, they can be used on their side for broad, expressive strokes and covering large areas with smooth, even colour. Being both smudge-proof and water-resistant, they are perfect for mixed-media techniques, allowing you to work over them with other mediums without fear of bleeding or smearing. From fine art drawings and portraits to architectural renderings and graphic design, Polychromos pencils adapt to your vision, providing consistent, reliable results on a wide variety of surfaces, including paper, card, wood, and fabric.
