Introduce your baby to ancient art and early motor development with the Hape x The Met William the Hippo Baby Stacker. This truly unique educational toy merges playful learning with world-class culture, creating an unforgettable first stacking experience for your little one. Inspired by The Met´s world-famous blue faience hippopotamus from its Egyptian Art collection, this stacker is a playful nod to one of the Museum´s most beloved objects/treasures.

This charming hippo-inspired stacker develops motor skills and explores color and shapes. Designed to captivate and educate, the William Stacker provides a multi-sensory experience that is essential for early development. The toy’s brilliant design encourages your child to practice grasping and placing, fundamental actions that build hand-eye coordination and fine motor control. The engaging, fun process of figuring out how the pieces fit together fosters problem-solving skills and logical thinking from a very young age.

Watching your child engage with this stackable toy is watching learning in action. The rounded, wobbly base adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement, teaching cause and effect as your baby learns to balance the structure. It’s an incredibly fun and rewarding activity that builds confidence with every successful placement. Perfect for little hands starting at 10 Months and 12 Months, this toy grows with your child, remaining an engaging challenge through 18 Months, 24 Months, and even up to 3 Years old. As they grow, they will master sorting the pieces by size and color, introducing early concepts of sequence and order.

More than just a toy, the William the Hippo Stacker is a piece of art history reimagined for playful learning, making it a thoughtful gift and a beautiful addition to any nursery or playroom. It offers a wonderful opportunity to combine tactile, fun play with an introduction to art and history.
