JANOD My First Forms: A Tropical Adventure in Shapes and Colours

Embark on a vibrant learning journey with the JANOD My First Forms, the perfect educational toy to introduce your toddler to the wonders of shapes and colours. Designed for curious little hands and minds, this enchanting wooden puzzle transports your child to an exotic, tropical world where cheerful birds guide them through their first steps in problem-solving and discovery. This beautifully crafted toy is more than just a plaything; it´s a foundational tool for early childhood development, cleverly disguised as a fun and engaging game.

The core of this toy´s magic lies in its ability to nurture essential skills. As your child grasps the chunky, easy-to-hold pieces, they are actively developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The delightful challenge of matching the geometric forms to their correct slots on the wooden base encourages concentration and logical thinking. It’s a wonderful and rewarding experience that builds confidence with each successful placement, making learning an intuitive and joyful process.

It´s time to soar over the tropics with these adorable, brightly-coloured birds! The 3 birds and 6 geometric shapes in this set will help your child to discover shapes and colours.

Once the geometric pieces have been placed in their slots on the wooden tabletop, your child can put the birds in the right positions by paying attention to the colours and the shapes of their feet.

This toy is great for improving hand-eye coordination, as well as helping children learn about shapes and colours.

Water-based paint.

Made of FSCTM-certified wood.

Early-years toy for children from 12 months onwards.

To create this range, we set out for the tropics in search of an escapist, exotic and contrasting atmosphere.

To best illustrate this wild nature, we have brought together cheerful animals in vibrant colours and plant elements in soothing hues.

Beyond simple shape sorting, the nestable design adds a brilliant second layer of learning. Children must not only identify the primary shape but also match the colourful bird to its corresponding base, paying close attention to the details of its feet. This two-step process reinforces colour and shape recognition in a dynamic way, solidifying these fundamental concepts in your child´s memory. Crafted with the utmost care for both your child and the planet, this toy is a testament to quality and thoughtful design. Give your child the gift of playful learning and watch their abilities soar with the JANOD My First Forms.
