Product description of Look MTB X-Track Easy Cleats

Description summary

Designed for new clipless users, these cleats offer effortless multidirectional disengagement (inwards, outwards, rolling) for quick, safe exits. Look MTB X-Track Easy Cleats

Unlock your potential on the trail and conquer the world of mountain biking with the Look MTB X-Track Easy Cleats. Designed specifically for riders new to clipless systems or anyone seeking the utmost confidence and safety, these bike cleats are the perfect entry point into high-performance MTB cycling. They remove the common anxiety associated with being locked into your pedals, providing an intuitive and forgiving experience that lets you focus on the ride ahead. Master the art of clipping in and out with a system that prioritizes ease of use without sacrificing the secure connection you need for efficient power transfer and control on technical terrain.

The standout benefit of the X-Track Easy Cleats is their multidirectional disengagement. Unlike standard cleats that require a precise outward twist of the heel, these allow for release through a variety of foot movements—including twisting inwards or a more natural rolling motion. This intuitive action becomes second nature, ensuring you can get your foot down quickly and safely when you need to, whether you´re navigating a tricky rock garden or coming to a sudden stop. This feature is a game-changer for building confidence and making the transition to clipless pedals feel seamless and secure.

Built for maximum versatility, the Look X-Track Easy Cleats are fully compatible with all standard SPD pedals. This means you can pair them with a vast array of pedals on the market, including those from Shimano and other major brands, giving you the freedom to choose the pedal system that best suits your style and budget. The cleat´s design ensures a stable and reliable connection to the pedal, providing a solid platform for pedalling efficiency while still offering the easy exit you desire. Crafted from premium materials, they are built to withstand the rigours of off-road riding, ensuring durability and consistent performance ride after ride.

Features:

* Multidirectional Disengagement: Specifically engineered for ease of use, allowing release by twisting your heel outwards, inwards, or even by rolling your foot. Ideal for beginners building confidence on the trail.
* Universal SPD Compatibility: Designed to work flawlessly with all pedals that use the Shimano SPD standard, offering maximum versatility for your setup.
* Precise Installation: Includes a micro shim for fixing the two mounting screws, ensuring a secure and perfectly adjusted fit on your cycling shoes.

Technical Specifications:

* Material: Premium Steel
* Angular Freedom (Float): 6°
* Angle Of Disengagement: 13°

These reliable and durable cleats perform exactly as advertised. They are praised for being simple, functional, and easy to install on cycling shoes. The multi-directional release feature provides an easy and comfortable clip-in and clip-out, making them ideal for beginners or riders wanting a quicker release. They offer a bit of freedom (float) and are a proven, high-quality product that works great and fits pedals without issue

Jean-Jacques

These cleats are well-suited to the LOOK cleat system and allow for easy disengagement and engagement of the foot when necessary. On the other hand, personally, I would have preferred a less significant foot float angle to prevent the foot from wandering more than necessary during pedaling!

Cleats with multi-directional release suitable not only for those who approach the pedal with attack but also for those who prefer to have an easier release than the cleats that have only the release in rotation on winding paths such as woods, etc. ..
